So you started this Network Marketing business all excited, ready to change your life.

You hit up your family and friends as you were told, but no one joined.  Some even made fun of you.

Next up, you were told you had to spread the word, tell the story of other success stories in your company to…

TOTAL STRANGERS.

And the fear hit you head-on like a steam engine.

And that, my friend, is the number one thing holding you back…

FEAR!

In his book The War of Art, Steven Pressfield says this…

The thing you fear most is what will give you the most results (paraphrasing).

And if you have a Network Marketing business and you're fearful of talking to people about your business, one thing is certain…

You.

Will.

Fail.

So how do you get past this fear (or any fears related to your business, like making a video)?

Got that?

Total immersion.

Do what scares you the most, totally detached from the outcome.

Good or bad.

You talk to someone about your business…

They tell you they'll watch your presentation (they don't).

They tell you they're not interested (97% of them will tell you this).

And some may tell you to go jump in the lake.

No matter.

The fact is you did it!

Celebrate the small wins and keep going.

Talk to another and another and another.

When you start to get positive outcomes, analyze it…

What did you do differently?  

Why did this person say yes when most others said no?

Did you do something different in your approach?

Did you choose from a different pool of people (for example, searching the local mall vs. searching pertinent Facebook groups).

Figure out if there was anything that was key to getting a positive response and then…

Do more of it!

The key is this…

To get over any fear, you have to face it.

And for me, total immersion (just doing it) is what works.

If I tiptoe around the problem for a while, chances are good I'll find a way to avoid it.

It's better to just jump in and get it done.

And then realize that the script of all the terrible things that can happen that you've been playing in your head is just…

NOT TRUE.

So go talk to someone about your Network Marketing business, or make that video or do that webinar.

Just do it and forget about the outcome.

Bathe in your success for just doing it, and I promise you…

The fear will vanish.
