You've probably heard the mantra of most successful online marketers…

“You get paid on the VALUE you bring to the marketplace.”

And that means creating CONTENT that others find helpful and valuable.

The Confusion Around Creating Content

Many seem to be confused about what it means to “create content”.

They feel it has to stem from original ideas.

They worry about their content being “worthy”.

And above all, they question whether they have what it takes to create content that truly serves others.

The Reality Of Creating Content

“Content” simply means any form of communication that helps others build their business.

Content can be written, as in articles and blog posts.

Content can be visual, as in videos and slideshows.

Content can be audios, as in podcasts.

Content can be formal trainings, as in webinars.

Content can be informal masterminding, as in Google hangouts.

Content can be original ideas and solutions.

Content can be your take on or review of another person's work.

Content can be what you learned from the training of others.

Content can be long, detailed trainings to build your training library.

Content can be short, based on one tidbit that you learned from your readings.

And anywhere inbetween.

Content can be ANYTHING that provides information that others find valuable.

Finding The Time To Create Content

Now that you know what kind of content you can create, the million dollar question for marketers who are super busy is…

How do I find the time?

Here are 3 solid tips for finding the time in your busy schedule to create content for your business:

1– Take advantage of the “nooks and crannies” of your day.

Nooks and Crannies refers to those small 15-30 minute time gaps in your day that are usually wasted.

  • your lunch break at the job
  • sitting in the doctors office waiting your turn
  • waiting on the pick up line at your kid's school

These are all examples of small time gaps in your day that you can be creating content…

Or at least planning it.

Just think what you can do in 15-30 minutes if you plan ahead:

  • plan out content ideas for the coming week
  • do a live or recorded video
  • start a blog post
  • create several social media posts to schedule at a later time

The reality is this…

No matter how busy you are, you DO have time to create content if you use that time effectively.

      Great training Bob!

As always!Another great way that I have learned to create awesome content is by “cashing checks”!

By that I mean I got to all the stacks and piles of notes that I have from all the training, courses, ebooks and coaching that I’ve invested in and create content around all the valuable info i took in my notes!

So are notes are like uncashed checks.

All we have to do is cash them in by using them to create content!

Thats my ninja trick to creating awesome value filled content!

      Nice post Bob.
Sure it opens eyes to see how one can come up with a content. At times it becomes very challenging when it comes to creating a worth posting article but once you get the content and enough information the everything else becomes easy. Unless you are not a writer.

This is a fun way to define “content”, Bob! I think it can be stressful for others when they think about it otherwise. I believe writing should be fun, both for writer and readers. Keep up the good work!

      Nice and very informative post

Content is one important factor in the world of internet for all blogs and websites. Content is in many types like articles. descriptions , comments etc. Now a days the contents have different forms like audio, video , images, instagram etc. The content has become in more digital form so as to make it more effective.

There has always been a scarcity of good content on the web. Having some content is of no use. Having unique and informative content is what helpful and which works fine. Creating content is not so difficult. But it is true that not every body can write or produce content. One has to have some style, some features, and some creativeness to produce content. The above post explains very meaningfully about what exactly content means. It helps us to change all the confusions about creating content.

      Thank you for sharing.
