“Attraction Marketing” is certainly one of the top 5 buzz words of the past few years. Everyone has a plan, a new strategy, or “secret, insider tips” on how best to become an attraction marketing magnet. But it doesn't have to be that complicated; the fact of the matter is, finding success with attraction marketing is remarkably simple and fast, once you know how to approach it.
The Straight Line to Success with Attraction Marketing
As we all know, the fastest path between 2 points is a straight line. We learned this in elementary school, yet so many of us seem to have forgotten this concept when it comes to our home businesses.
It's no different with Attraction Marketing.
For most, they zig-zag their way through maxing out their Facebook friends and Twitter followers, convinced that this will be the key to success with Attraction Marketing. And for most, the result is too many friends and too few profits.
But if you take a step back and approach Attraction Marketing as it was meant to be, you will see results much, much faster.
The 3 Principles of Attraction Marketing That Matter Most
There are 3 key principles that matter most when it comes to finding your success with Attraction Marketing. They are the logical starting points, yet too many people jump right into the Attraction Marketing scene without giving them any consideration.
Principle #1: Remember WHO you are
How simple this sounds, yet so many people don't ever think about it. Just who are you? What are your experiences that could benefit others? What are your strengths that could be applied to your business? What interesting hobbies do you have?
All of this goes into defining YOU to your friends and followers.
Principle #2: Define your TARGET audience
You CANNOT attract everyone. You should not market to everyone. It's impossible. But that's what so many people new to Attraction Marketing try to do. Take some time to figure out who you wish to attract — your Target Audience.
Once you've done this, there's still work to be done – GO OUT AND FIND THEM!
- Find people who match your target marketing persona — search Facebook Groups that will likely contain people in your Target Audience. Add these people to your Friends and Followers and let them know why you've asked for their connection.
- Do a Google Search to find Forums and Communities in your Target Market. Use the Power of the Internet to leverage your time. Once you've found a few places where your Target Audience hang out, go hang out with them! Participate in discussions and provide constructive advice where you can. But most importantly…. LISTEN!
Listen to what's being said and more importantly, listen for complaints. Are there some common obstacles that people in your niche are having? This information is pure gold for Principle #3.
Principle #3: Solve a Problem or Find a Solution
Once you know who you wish to attract (your targets), study them.
- What are their problems and challenges?
- What is their biggest frustration?
- How about those terrifying fears that keep them up at night.
Take some time, do your research and figure out what you can offer to SOLVE a problem that is really hindering their progress.
Once you can offer a specific solution, success with Attraction Marketing will come fast and furious. You'll have more friends and followers than you can handle, and they will all be people who want to hear from you (and even buy things!).
This is the ultimate LEVERAGING and TIME SAVING strategy for using Attraction Marketing to find business prospects.
