There is a myth around creating business-related posts on Facebook…

“They won't get much engagement.”

In today's post, I'll show you how to create business posts on your Facebook profile that get PLENTY of engagement.

And I'll give you lots of examples, too.

But first, you always want to be sure you understand the policies and regulations of the social media platform you are using, in this case, Facebook.

Business-Related Posts on Facebook

7 Business-Related Posts You Can Create On Your Facebook Profile

First, let's talk about different kinds of business-related posts you can create.

1. How-To Tips, Tricks, and Strategies

Show off your knowledge and expertise!

For example, post weekly tips related to your industry or detailed strategies for solving specific problems.

2. Case Studies and Success Stories

Highlight real-life examples to build credibility. For instance:

Share a detailed case study on how your product or service solved a problem.

Feature testimonials or success stories from your clients.

Don't be shy on talking about how your product is superior to your competitors!

3. Behind-the-Scenes Updates

Give your audience a peek into your world.

For example, you can include behind-the-scenes where you share updates on projects you’re working on.

Also, you could offer exclusive insights or sneak peeks into upcoming releases.

People love feeling like they're being given an exclusive look inside your business.

Take advantage of it.

4. Inspirational and Motivational Content

Inspire your audience with quotes.

Post quotes that resonate with you, but add a personal touch by explaining why they matter to you.

And be sure to share your journey, challenges, and successes to motivate others.

5. Controversial or Polarizing Content

Tread carefully with this one.

You could end up alienating a large portion of your target market if you're not careful (unless that's your plan)!

My approach is this:

Industry-related controversies are fair game.

I often share my opinion on hot topics within your industry.

But I steer clear of politics or religion.

That's what's best for my business.  It might be different for your business.  Act accordingly.

6. Nostalgic Posts

Tap into nostalgia to create an emotional connection.

For example, you could share old photos or stories from your business journey.

Or celebrate anniversaries or key milestones.

Taking people back in time and letting them share in your celebrations can be very powerful for creating engaging business-related posts on Facebook.

7. Interactive Content

Engage your audience with questions and polls:

Ask open-ended questions to spark conversation.

Conduct polls to get your audience’s opinion on relevant topics.

Anything that can get your reader engaged with your content is a big win!
