couch potato imageMaybe you've noticed I've been a bit quiet lately.

  • I haven't been posting here as regularly as usual.
  • I've fallen behind in my blog comment responses.
  • My Facebook wall is starting to look like a barren desert.

Some people have been asking if everything is okay, and I want to assure you that Rosemary and I are both alive and well… and looking forward to the holidays.

What Have I Been Up To?

So what have I been doing with my time?

What if I told you that I've been lounging on my couch eating junk food and watching endless reruns of The Beverly Hillbillies on TVLand?

I'd be lying of course.

No, I haven't been taking it easy… in fact, I've been working behind the scenes on some really cool new projects.

I'm not ready to release any of these projects just yet… but soon, very soon.

And when they are released, YOU will be the one who benefits in a very big way.

Want a Sneak Peek?

Let me give you a glimpse of the 3 projects I've been working on:

Looking forward to seeing the outcome of your projects. Have a nice holiday too.

    • Sonny

So, based on all that you’ve been working on, it seems that, fittingly enough, not posting to your Facebook page has helped you in “Getting More Done with Your Limited Time.”

    • EleonoraEOF

      Hi Bob,
you never get tired, you are just working…thanks for giving up a peak on the 3 projects you’ve been working on. By that way, i liked the pic of the cat, really cool LOL!

    • Sylviane Nuccio

It seems that you have been BUSY doing great things. I just read and replied to your comment on my guest post at Barry Wells and had to come see you. It’s my first time here and again to my despair 🙂 I love what I see and will have to come back 🙂 🙂

      Nice meeting you!

    • Cat Alexandra

      Hi Bob,

Wow, what fantastic news from you! I had a feeling you might be working on a pet-project of some kind “behind the scenes.”

I look forward to hearing more as things develop on that front! And congrats on all the growing successes. I’m eager to learn more from you expert bloggers!

      Best regards,
      Cat Alexandra

      • Bob

        Hi Cat,

Yeah, I find that when I really want to be productive I need to shut everything else off and go at it. Multi-tasking is not one of my strong points! I find it works the opposite for me — I get less done.

        Appreciate the comment!

    • Donna Merrill

When I see that someone like you has been quiet on the syndication scene, I realize that there is something more to it. My gosh! Looks like you have been busy. Don’t blame you for taking a break. People that know me well, realize that when I’m not “out there” it is usually because I’m in my cave working on a project, or crashing from overload.
Hope you win the blog contest, only a few days left for the results. Why YOU? Because your blogs are informative, giving, and you are a true professional.
      Take care,
      Donna

      • Bob

Thanks for the kind words, Donna. And thanks for the contest vote!

It’s true what you say… whenever I see someone who is usually very active on the social media/syndication scene go quiet, I know something big is likely to be happening soon. And sure enough, soon after I see a huge project being announced or product launched.

        Thanks for the comment, Donna!

I can’t even visualize you lounging on a couch chilled in front of the TV Bob! Do you even have time to do that? I do, but it’s late at night when I’m trying my best to wind down. But, I LOVE that photo of that cat. That is just hilarious.

Now, on to why you’ve been MIA!!! Happy to hear all is well with you guys but I knew what you were up to. I’m so excited about your new series and I can’t wait for the first addition next week. You have gone above and beyond to locate all these fabulous participants and I can’t wait to hear what they all have to share.

After hearing your interview and what you shared you are the perfect person to put together an ebook and I love that title, “How to Be More Productive with My Time.” Great job Bob and I’m so happy for you. What a big accomplishment.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you in the blog contest. Yes, I did vote but it was before you offered the webinar. I know a few of us had asked you if that meant we would still get in on it but you were so busy I guess, we never received a reply! So, even if I miss that webinar you’ll share the recap so I have no doubt I’ll still get in on some goodies.

Thanks for the heads up Bob and just glad you are busy busy busy. Now, relax a little and veg some. That cat could probably use some company! 🙂

      • Bob

Thanks for the support, Adrienne. I also can’t wait for our collaborative project to launch next week. It’s going to be so awesome to learn from expert bloggers who will “spill the beans” on their success strategies.

And DON’T WORRY — you and everyone else who voted for our blog before I announced the Private Invitation Webinar will get your invitation! I wouldn’t exclude anyone, for sure.

Actually, the people who voted for us early on should get 2 invites! 🙂

As to lounging on the couch, I have been known to be lazy on a Sunday afternoon and watch some good football games. It’s my way of relaxing and powering down 🙂

    • Herbert

ill be looking forward to that one sir Bob 😀 Happy Holidays

      • Bob

Happy Holidays to you and your family, Herbert!

    • Ann

You certainly haven’t been sitting on the couch with that cat, Dr. Bob. You have been plenty busy, but I still love the cat picture. Thanks for your information and a great picture.

      • Bob

Isn’t that picture amazing, Ann? When I saw it, I knew I had to use it on this post!

Thanks for the kind words, Ann. Great to see you here!

    • John Komatsoulis

Congrats, look forward to reading it Bob. 🙂

      • Bob

        Thanks, John!

    • Nicky

I certainly didn’t think you would be doing nothing and now I am really looking forward to seeing your time productivity tips Dr Bob!
      Nicky

      • Bob

Thanks, Nicky. There are times when I am doing nothing physically, but usually my mind is racing a mile a minute, thinking of ideas. It’s why I have trouble sleeping, I guess! 🙂

Can’t wait to share these productivity strategies with everyone. Almost done!

    • Oliver Tausend

      Hi Bob,

there was no doubt in my mind that you have worked really hard behind the scenes…and if you had taken time off, it would have been OK too. We all have to do that from time to time, right ?

Your projects sound really cool and I am glad to be part in one of them, although I feel guilty that I haven’t kept my end of the deal yet.

      Keep up your great work.

      Be blessed

      Oliver

      • Bob

I am also excited about our collaboration project, Oliver. And no worries, if you don’t make it for the first question, many more will follow!

You are so right, it IS okay to take a break once in a while. In fact, next Monday we leave for a week in the Bahamas, where I plan on unplugging and relaxing a bit. It’s been a busy month, and it’s only 11 days in.

Thanks for the comment, Oliver. As always, it’s great to see you here!

    • jim syyap

Heading into the holidays, would you say that website traffic to your blog, or any blog in particular, is going to go down?

      Thanks!

      • Bob

        Hey Jim,

Over the last couple of years, I haven’t noticed a particular drop off in readership leading up to holidays. In fact, sometimes my traffic increases as people have a bit more time to get in front of their computer. Now on the actual day of the holiday, yes I do see a drop off.

But that’s to be expected as people are spending time with their loved ones.

        Thanks for the question!
